As I understand it...

There are 2 major shock suppliers for the entire US aftermarket industry; Gabriel and Tenneco they probably account for 99% of every single twin tube shock on the market And all of those shocks are manufactured in Mexico.

I'm 6" Lift Kit shopping for my 82 K5 Blazer and IF they can be had all parts 100% Made In USA from 100% USA Materials & Resources by Americans.

Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure my Bilstein 5100s are manufactured in the US. Website says US or Germany. Not sure if 100% USA materials.

are you running a 6" lift on a K5?

thanks in advance.
I am and my bilsteins were made in Germany. Call Off Road Design and they will confirm if the ones you need are still made in Germany or not. The ones I just threw on my Duramax are also made in Germany.

Gabriel is made in China. My wife worked for them for 4 years. You will never figure out there supply chains. Everything is hidden under company names that would be impossible for the average person to track.

I want to run Fox shocks or Bilsteins but I cannot find a good deal on Fox shocks for a 2.5" lift
