NOT talking about thread size. I know that part.
The car I was recently changing bushings in has aftermarket control arms. They have grease fittings at each bushing, but the ball part is too small to clip into either of my grease guns.... :dunno:

I've never seen this and Google just talks about threads.

If you know of smaller ones, can anyone point me to the right coupler for them..?

Think I chucked them and used the standard style

Too late for that now in this one I think lol. They'd be near impossible to change now that they're back in the car.

Only reference I found to different sizes was a coupler head saying you could adjust it for different sized zerts.... but it's the coupler I have and I already have it all the way tightened lol.

I'm probably just boned in this, and they'll only get the grease they got on assembly.

He only drives it about 500-1000 miles a year, so it's probably fine.:dunno:

I dug out an old grease gun from the tools I got from my dad, and that one just faintly clicked on them. With that and holding it straight i was able to get them greased.

Your tip maybe worn out. They do need to be replaced every so often.

The first 2 I tried were new lol. Ones about a year old, the other I'd one of the thumb button quick ones that I installed for the first time just to try that. Then I tried one old one with the same results.
The one from my dad is at least 30 years old I believe. I don't think he ever changed the tip anyway. The gun is the one he had when I still lived with them in highschool lol.

The one for mufflers is a special size.
