Are these hooks off a 72?

I questioned this guy on whether he really had hooks off a 72. He wrote me an email back and this is what he said.

"What I can tell you is the hooks came off a 1972 Blazer. I have another
72 Blazer with the identical hooks/same #'s. I have seen this style on
other 72 Blazers as well. The production date on my other Blazer is
Aug. 1972 so I would have to guess they changed the style or started using
these as well from late 72 and on, not sure, but I have seen others
with the same.
I do have the other style hooks on my 1969 C/20 4x4, so I know the
different styles. In the pic., the 67-68 hooks were also on 65-66's. The
style that was used on the 69's into 72 are much more rare than the one's
I am selling, thats why I only started them at $25. The other style
like on my 69 sell anywhere between $300-$500. thanks rob"

You know my answer to this - and just because they came off a '72 doesn't mean they are "for" a '72.

I have a 10 bolt 3/4 ton front end that wasn't stock in '72 on my '72

I saw these hooks on ebay also and qusetioned it too. The discription said thet the center to center is 3 3/4 in. but I measured them on my '72 and of the 3 holes in the frame ends none measure out to 3 3/4 in. However, they would bolt/drill pretty easy as tow points.
