It scares me I know this much about thornbirds but they aren't bias ply tires they are bias belted tires theres a difference what it is I do not know, they still suck

Haha i know, everyone says they suck, but from the people i know who actually had them said they werent bad at all. I got some 31x11.00 for my zr2 for $125 each and free shipping and then a $40 rebate. I only go offroad in my zr2 everynow and then, and its stock so it was between some BFG M/T's or thornterds and i pick them b/c they look better(yes call me a poser) and ive heard there real loud, which i like. So far i like them, if they last me longer than 30,000+ ill be happy.

I had some thornbirds on a cherokee once. They lasted about 15K miles.
They sucked on wet pavement. They were loud. They sucked offroad. They got me stuck twice, I never got stuck with all terrains on it. Wouldn't run them on anything ever again even if they were free! Again, be careful on wet pavement!!!

I'm thinking of going with 32x11.5-15 BFG's on my '99 ZR2 Blazer (5-speed ) but that's after I cure the saggy butt and wear out my Toyo Open Countries (really good tire, wearing like iron and good off road) I'm just tired of my truck looking like a car, these are a very street friendly tire. Good luck with the 'turds (thornbirds) If all you want is looks and a loud tire, you made a good choice. I have a few friends that run them on the street and like them, but they never, EVER go off road.

should've bought the BFGs, they would've lasted 60,000, cost you the same money, and you would've been happier. oh, and you wouldnt look like a poser queer driving down the road.
