General questions for people, sorry if I left anyone out[wink]

Pugsley, what did you do to your blazer? Did you trash it bad? We're gonna be at the bmx tomorrow night. If you're working get the crew to come out and watch. You'll probably be needed sooner or later anyway, My kids are gonna race! DesertDueler, what kind of bumper are you looking for and how soon do you need one? I'm gonna be taking my front stock one off pretty soon and your welcome to it. Jaun Blazer, do they still have a bmx track in mingus? I'd spend a weekend up there for some racing and 4 wheeling!

That jeep thing? Yah I understand it....... Like my Blazer? http://community.webshots.com/user/blazerk5

Re: General questions for people, sorry if I left anyone out[wink]

I'm not sure what I did to kill it - either the trip to Nogales or attempting to get into the parking lot at Pima CC East (killer whoop-de-dos... er speed bumps
smile.gif
) Either way, the front left wheel has some serious negative camber (the top sticks out an inch and a half more than the bottom) - it gets really squirrely anywhere past 35-40 now, so road trips are cancelled for the near future. I'm off tonight, but might take a ride out that direction if the Mrs. doesn't have anything on the schedule - so keep an eye peeled for the beast headed that way.

I'm definately in. I would like to keep the club focused on fullsize GM products, but I see no reason to exclude other vehicle makes from our runs. I just don't want to be over run by a bunch of Heeps & Furds. Those guys can be invited on an individual basis by members and I don't even have a problem with them joining, but there are already "Open" clubs that don't discriminate on what kind of rig you have, so I'd like it to be a fullsize GM club that allows anybody to join as long as they don't mind being part of a Fullsize GM club. I also think we should affiliate the club with the www.asa4wdc.org/ aka The Arizona State Association Of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs, that way we can support keeping Arizona and the US open for wheeling. How about CK5 ARIZONA OUTLAW WHEELERS, The Arizona Chapter of CK5? That way we can still be part of CK5 at the same time and use this forum to communicate.

Allan.
I like the name... What about everybody else think?
I too want to keep the club for fullsize GM. We will be joining
asa4wdc.I was going to get some t-shirt's and some kind of decal made so we could sell them to make some$$ to join .

IT'S NOT JUST A J**P THING AND I DO UNDERSTAND

I like the name. I defintily believe we need to have a Fullsize GM Club focused on them. I agree on the "other" rigs being let in on an individual basis w/ waiting/trial period. I like the idea of being the AZ chapter of CK5.

My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.

I agree also with the name and the Fullsize with invitees of other vehicles ... Keep us updated!

Hey, we should form our own non-functional, non-road worthy, K30 project club! We could set around all day and talk about how cool they will be when (if?) they ever get out to the trail!

What exactly are you doing to it? Rather than steal this thread, you can PM me, I would like to learn the details of your project...

Hey Brian, I would like you to let Steve know that we don't want to take away from his club just add to it. At least that's how I personally feel about it, I can't speak for the rest of the guys. I still plan to join CK5 as soon as the paychecks from my new job start kicking in. I personally wouldn't know any of you guys if it weren't for Steve and CK5...THANKS STEVE!!! BTW I'm glad you guys like the name and ideas.

I'm in if y'all aren't too afraid of my truck :D :D

My Ford has chevy parts! it's all good!

I'm leary of taking my blazer north of Phoenix, if you guys get some runs near Florence and areas like that I'd love to get together with you all! I'm gonna get my new rear end put together in a few weeks. Nothing major, gonna lose the auburn and stick in an open rear with a lockright.

Tell me about it

!!! I'm not too fond of taking mine anywhere without alot of stoplights currently - I almost killed a ricer on Golf Links and Craycroft yesterday when the thing decided to try and do a suicide dive to the left (I admit that I was changing CD's at the moment)

- thankfully a new frontend has been located and is undergoing a rebuild as we speak, so I can again set foot on the freeways without fear

I agree with the Florence area cuz I'm an "East Sider" too....

Bryan,

Do you have the next event planned? I'd like to suggest Lower and Upper Ajax out by Florence. Upper is tougher, but it's short - so if you got a large crowd, the group could go thru lower, and if time permits and desire is there then the upper part awaits.

Definitely interested here ('77 K5, mild trail-worthy).
As a starting point, I can suggest forming a Yahoo Group...very easy to start, can be www or e-mail based, allows posting of pics, files, calendar and forum messages...
just my two cents... will also reply to the e-mail you posted in case you hate the Yahoo idea...
Would like to meet some of you all who have helped me thru CK5... east sider here....
Also have non-K5 friends who may be into it...

Hey DsrtRat, I see you are in the video business, could you do movies of 4x4 runs maybe ?
