I just had a bad experience with AZ drivelines. I was looking to get some work done and asked him not to do anything until I can find the right people to get things done. I was going to have him build me some driveshafts, front and rear with an SYE kit. He charged the card, called me two weeks later and asked me what I wanted to do with the work he had performed and when he wanted me to ship. First of all, I did not authorize him to go forward with the work at the time. Second, he came back and said "well if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be in this F___n' mess and it's your fault you're in this f___n' mess!" and hung up on me. To this day he still hasn't refunded the money on my card. I had to go thru a dispute deal on the card. I recommend not doing any deals with AZ drivelines. I have sent two e-mails to him to cancel the order, and it has been exactly 1 month since I cancelled.

I know 2 people with broken AZ shafts Bad Boy jr shafts too. not impressed.

every couple months this comes up to the surface, sorry you had to find out the hard way, please ask on here for shops we refer.

long story short..

brian, a friend of mines grandfather started that business, even pioneered a few tools or methods so I heard. when he passed/retired brians mom and oscar started running the place. its has 3-5 different names or terms they go by; gloco, arizona drivelines, drive line superstore and what not.

Brian was doing diff rebuilds/gears and build ups in the east side building, but do to trouble with drugs and the law..down ward spiral, he could be running that place and treats people very well..but he has personal problems.

steve is a long haired guy who ran the front and worked for oscar, hell of a guy and real great customer service, he was there and then gone, and then there and last time I checked a month or two ago he was gone again.

Oscar is a liar, a cheat, wont honor his product and has ruined the name of that business, sadly they have enough work comming through the door I dont see them closing doors any time soon. I have heard of locals ordering one size wall tubing, even supplying it and when it fails its not what they ordered.. heard plenty other called liars and cheated by him.

I can't even remember how many times I have read bad things about that place. In the future you should check here before you spend that kind of coin.

well, he asked for it... so he would have it when i gave him the go-ahead.
Call the BBB and tell them about this. He could get into serious trouble for transferring funds out of your card. Maybe enough to close up his shop.

BBB won't care about credit cards. VISA (i.e. your credit card company) will, and they get pissy with the guy :D At the least it's gonna cost him (Oscar) twenty or thirty bucks to take the chargeback -- above and beyond the original invoice amount -- and if it happens a lot, his credit card processor will dump him ;)

yea i had a shaft built buy them. when i searched i was dumb and didnt do it on here and saw a few reviews where they were listed as a great place. probally before the switch. but i did get a shaft all be it it wasnt the 1350 one i ordered. oscar said to send it back and he would make it right but i figured might as well as take the 400$ fup rather then send it back and never get one back in return. i plan on now building my own. for 25$ i can get it balanced and i plan on finding joints from a 2.5 ton for it so it will be real beef.

anyhow i guess you live and learn. next time i order shafts it going to be from HAD the only reason i didnt is they didnt even list a base price which made it hard to plan a build. not to mention i broke my 1330 shaft so i needed one asap.

hmm I use to have one of their cv shafts in the rear of my blazer. couple wheelin trips, few thousand road miles, and the u-joints are still nice and tight, no slop at all. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Maybe someone should e-mail this link to fourwheeler magazine. I believe they have a driveshaft superstore ad in the back.
