Contemplating an Art Carr shifter. Rockgate pattern. I'd like the rock gate reverse but I'm not swapping valve bodies. Thoughts on this shifter? Is the 60" cable long enough? Also looking at going with a single stick cable shifter for the t-case.

Absolutely love mine. The standard cable was long enough to mount between the seats.

I used a goat built mount for mine. Very easy to reach the shifter while seated in a normal position.

Nice. I've got a tuffy console so I'd need to mount it in front of the console. Wonder if I could fit the cup holder version between the console and dash.

That's the one I was looking at.

I figure that instead of screwing with the stock linkages after the body lift I'll just buy new shifters haha.

I had the Winters Performance Sidewinder shifter with reverse valve body pattern. It was fantastic. Cable was plenty long enough to mount on a home made center console

I run one too, very comfortable shifter and works well. However I wish I went reverse pattern for those hairy situations sometimes.

I'd prefer the reverse pattern but I'm not going to a full manual valve body. If I wanted to shift I'd convert to stick.

@mrk5 I love the mount to the tuffy box. That's brilliant. I'm guessing that's the universal mount shifter base?

It's just the shifter itself. There are threaded holes in the shifter that the bolts are threaded into. I believe they are the same holes you would use to bolt it into the formed plastic base that comes with the shifter. This is all assuming Winters makes them the same way.
