Ash Tray Springs???

Anyone know where to get springs to make a worn out ashtray close? Thanks in advance.

Junkyard or LMC...Brothers...etc. Never researched it just reworked the ones I had when I needed to.

junkyard....takes lots of pics before you remove the spring from the donar truck. I just had to do this .....and it's a bii itch. But I got the thing right and it stays up now!!

How do you even remove this door? I've never been successful....but never tried that hard....

I went to the junk yard a few weeks ago and picked up some springs......pulled about 4 in all and they gave them to me for free.

Here is a link of that thread with some pics before I pulled the springs out. Hopefully it will help you install once you get them.

yep.. that the post I followed to do mine.. read my response and look close at the pics.

I just took a tiny magnet and stuck it in the top so that when I push it closed, it holds. not original, but does work, and holds up to some pretty heavy "bouncing" off road.
