Same great 3/8" thick covers but with the recent drop in steel prices we were able to lower our Diff Cover prices by $10 across the board!

They used to be a great value for around $10 more than the rest you got a cover twice as thick, now for about the same price you get the same cover!

And you can still take the discount too and get much more for much less :wink1:

Still welded inside & out, still machined Flat after welding!

Thanks for your continued patronage and we will continue our efforts to bring you fair prices!

There are a few other things we have lowered prices on......

How about Shock Towers! Lowered by 30%......More to come!

still machined Flat after welding!

Dan, have you always machined the covers after welding? Both D60 and 14FF covers i bought from you were not machined, these covers are a couple years old though so maybe you weren't doing it when you first started building them. The reason i ask is because my front cover has leaked a couple different times now but after trying to sand it on my large belt sander and a nice liberal amount of RTV i think i've finally got it sealed up.

That is exactly why we started.....

We could be 95% sure they were leak free but to be certain we began surfacing them about 2 years ago.

That was also when we started the countersunk holes. They do more to stop leaks in any cover. No matter how good the initial seal is, if you bang on it enough it will move fractionally and break the RTV bond and leak. The countersunk holes prevent any movement so the seal stays indefinately.

Cool, glad to know that i wasn't going crazy and that i bought mine before you started machining them after welding. What are you using to machine them? Like i said i used my large belt surfacer and that steel is HARD and i cannot get it to surface all the way across the cover.

I have a newer D60 cover with the C' Bored bolt holes. I re-welded the "V" inside the cover where the hat to the ring met. It was welded in the Root of the V but I thought it needed a cover pass. I used my 20" disc grinder to re-surface my cover after welding. Your right, that Grade 50 structural steel is hard, harder then cold rolled steel is. I use 36 grit discs on my grinder, Any lesser grit wont cut that steel much at all, it just dulls it.

No reason to add more weld.....

in fact the inside weld on some of the covers has to be higher for clearance. Lots of extra things to consider when making the covers 3/8" thick. And with the inside & outside welded the weld itself ends up right at 3/8" too.....

The stock market is collapsing.....for now......

It will come back over time or civilization as we know it will end:eek: Oh well, life goes on and if civilization is coming to an end what better time to get your rig ready:D

And if it costs' 10% less by using the CK510 discount code you don't need a never ending pretend sale either!

Available......

in the here and now.......No boats to sink.......Buy US made from American companies........In these times you really need to see just who's job you are taking away......

Just ordered my 14bff and dana 60 diff covers w/ the drain and countersunk using the santa code. Look foward to getting them. Thanks for the deal....Dave

Ordered last night. D60and D70 covers with D70 rear disc brackets. WOHOO can't wait.

The normal prices!

Not much different than someone elses special sale prices! These have always had an unlimited lifetime warranty, no questiions asked! All in stock too!

And unlike a certain cast cover.....

That claims to be strongest, this one really is the strongest! And less expensive than the mall crawling cast covers!
