hey there, i was running 8" of lift in the rear with 5* shims and bought 20* degree shim a while back to try to eliminate the vibs. the driveshaft was lengthened as well. however i never got around to putting the bigger shims on because i read on here that actually running with no shims causes the vibs to cancle out or something. i just added zero-rates and was wondering which would be the best way to get rid of as much viberation as possible, no shim, 5* shim, 20* shim?

thanks.

a 20 degree shim seems a bit much for an 8 inch lift...been awhile but i think mine were either 6 or 8 degree shims for my eight inch lift...

what you are trying to accomplish is match the angle of the pinion with the angle of the output of the t-case. someone else will probably chime in with some more info.
