ATF?

What kinnda ATF do yall run? I was thinking of B&M or TCI but isent that stuff really expencive? I need about 2gallons(full tranny flush) But I dont want cheap chrap because I need this trans. to last and its got a pretty good size load on it(3.08 & 33's) but its a 700R4

Umm, the Wal-mart special - I think it's called Tech or something like that. It's Dextron III, and I haven't had any problems running it in my 700.

I use valvoline ATF. Just use a decent name brand, keep the fluid clean. Change the filter once in a while, and don't overheat the tranny. It should last fine. I have 36's on my truck w/ 700r4 and it has lasted for 40,000 some thousand miles, with a 6 hour freeway ride to school, no prob. But I have 4.56 gears too...

For my 700'r I don't want to run cheeper ATF I would rather have my tranny last so I use Amsoil Synthetic ATF /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Spend the money and but a good cooler on your tranny.
