What did you use to treat the bare metal after the cutting?
Has anyone tried putting some of that door edge molding stuff on the edges after cutting?
 
Mine is headed to the body shop pretty quick so I didn't treat yet. Figured I would just primer it for now and let the body shop have at it.

I modified the inner fenders and welded them to the outer fenders. Added metal where I needed to. We will see how it works.

I am looking for some type of fender flare stuff that will conform to the shape. If you know of any let me know. Thanks.
 
Home depot,, tile floor transition strip (vinyl),, comes in 10 foot lenghts,,pop rivits,,works great.
