anyone know what the maximum distance your tires are allowed to hang out of the wheel well/fender flare?

0000000000000000000000" The tread is not allowed to stick out at all. If you hang a string down off the lip of the fender the tread must be even or to the inside of it. Mine in the front do stick out just a little bit and I never had anybody question it. In all reality our K5's are not legal to begin with. They are conidered cars (station wagon) and all of our bumper hights are illegal.

No part of the tread can extend beyond the body & 3" is the maximum fender flare width.
