here are some pics of my frame off 4x4 project i'm about to reassemble. i am planning a 3-4" shackle flip on the rear. how do i get the front to match? longer shackles? i have seen the links here but i'm still confused. i have new 3/4 ton rear springs, stock g.m./ 14 bolt rear/ big 10 bolt front. i want a small lift for a little more wheel clearance, and a solid problem free 4x4. can i get some advice from someone who has done a shackle flip on a first gen blazer?
thanx:confused:

go with a 4" shackle flip in the rear with your stock springs and some 4" lift springs up front. If you want to do some really hardcore stuff, there are alot more spring options out there, but this is the most simple.

Werd.

yeppers, you can get a set of BDS springs relatively cheap. Try www.jdsoffroad.com they sell them cheap. Their web site sucks, so it takes some time to find what you need... but they do have good prices on BDS gear. Since reliability seems to be an important factor for you, you'll dig the lifetime no-questions-asked guarentee than BDS offers.
