Well that's not it. Can you post log for me to look at?

Fuel filter change while your doing the pressure test as that is usually where the TBI fuel pressure gauge goes.

I put in a new fuel filter two weeks ago after you suggested it was fuel. I installed the fuel pressure gauge in the back of the tbi. Unfortunately it leaked at the swivel fitting. I still think it's fuel pressure related and could have some gunk in the pickup. All it did was leak all over the intake.

I'll post the log after my family leaves.

I did let it warm up to about 160 before i started logging.

There is one fuel pressure gauge fitting that will fit on SOME TBI trucks...:dunno:

But the gauge that fits at filter always works.

Is it running OK except for the acceleration bog?

Yah runs like a dream just bogs on heavy go pedal. Runs decent if I bring the the rpm up gradually. I'll get the logs up later today.

here yah go mark.

Going to try to go to a yard and find a new cable for the drac box soon. Ideally I would like to get this thing running as good as possible. So i'll be interested in getting a prom burned from you. I can handle all the soldering in the ECM just do not have the prom burner. So let me know what you need and price and we can go from there.

Thanks

Also this is just drive up and down my road to the culdesac and turning around back to my drive way. The rest of my road is solid ice. Mud tires and welded rear do not do too well on ice. If it warm up a bit more I'll get some longer running data.

If your not going to get into Prom Burning there's no reason to solder in the G2 adapter from Moates. I have brand new 2732a chips (stock factory chips) I use for people with stock ECM. They are still EPROM and need UV light to erase and a old school burner, The Moates Burn 2 will read them but not burn them.

They G2 adapter from Moates get's soldered in to use the 27SF512 erasable EEPROM.

If you want me to do a better Chip we would have to make sure we have all these issues squared away and a longer data log. One thing at a time.

Hey mark do you happen to have a schematic for the 122747 ecm? My columns neutral safety switch is destroyed and is from an 83 so the wiring doesn't exactly match up. I have a b&m ratchet style shifter with micro switches as long as i know if the signals are active hi or active low i should be able to make the shifter position work. Then I can grab a drac box or buffer box and vix the vss.

There's a Sticky in Injection Section with all the wiring diagrams for the EFI on these 1227747 trucks. But I'm not sure if it goes into detail on safety switch?

But I can tell you it needs Ground in Park/Neutral and Open in gear. This get's you the benefits of high idle when cold and idle drop when put in gear etc.... worst case scenario on a lot of conversions it's just left Open and then in tune I raise the idle for colder temps.

There were more then one aftermarket harness who's instructions clearly stated to ground this wire if no P/N switch could be used! :doah: This makes for horribly idle RPM and never new where it would end up. IAC logic is only in full swing when Not Grounded!

Thanks that helps a bunch. I probably could have found it if I searched but I figured it would be easier to ask you sense I have seen you post schematics in other threads.

Upon taking my cluster apart today I have the VSS buffer built into the speedo. Now I just need to find the schematic for this, connectors and order a new cable from my 205 to the cluster and I'll be all set.

So ran her up and down the road today. Must have been something in the pickup because she runs like a dream now. Was a little boggy then hit a few bumps and then she opened right up.

Well I'm sure it was a little fuel related but you pointing out the tps and tunerpro telling me the map and cts was bad. I'm surprised it even ran before...

Still am going to wire up the park neutral, and vss after those are fixed ill message you about a custom prom.
