Things would not be vauge if i could see a picture of the shaft i built- I also asked for that- there are at least 3 different ways this shaft could have been made and i asked to see if you could tell me what i needed to help you - If you have more time to post than to look and try to help me help you - then so be it- Jess

that's the older style its a 1350 c/v end yoke style - and getting a zerk in there will be challeging - we will do our best- i can assure you no other shop would concider making the center greace-able on this style - Jess

So what are my options? Are the newer style 1350 CV's better as opposed to this one only in regards to greasability? Do they offer the same degree of flex as the older ones? What kind of price am I looking at for the new style 1350 greasable CV or having this one repaired and a grease zerk put in? I want a full run down on pricing for parts, labor, everything.

Also, will I still be able to use my 208 yoke that's still stuck in the TC with the new style 1350 CV?

This is directed towards Jess. Speaking as a person who is a dealership technition at a GM dealership, I know how some cust. love to "jump the gun" and get everyones blood pressure up and Jess is always cool under pressure. I am a cust of yours and I am running my front shaft from you and love it. You spent at least 45 min talking with me about diffent ways to go about it. I also read your posts on Pirate also. Because of your cust. service you will always have my business, even if it is a little more out of my pocket (not that I'm saying your pricey). My hats off you Jess.
Aaron.

I appreciate your comments- my goal is customer service because that's what i beleive makes the difference- Jess

I'm not sure what milage everyone's getting and under what conditions they're used but personally I'm happy with 2 years worth of use from a driveshaft before it requires some money thrown at it.
Also keep in mind that the technology and techniques are constantly changing and usually getting better. There's no way around it. Your cool stuff will be not so cool in the future.

Customer service is definately a way to keep customers and also make new ones and people who "jump the gun" are the ones who usually don't get very far in my book. If there is a problem and someone comes to me with an attitude they get attitude right back at them, but on the other hand, if they come to me calmly and ask about a problem and how it can be remedied then i'm all out to help them the best i can beyond what would be considered normal.
