What do you think of the ECTED or E-Locker in a front axle application? Anyone have any experience with either of these? I would think since the E-locker is open when "off" it would be easier to turn.

The ECTED isn't "truly" a locker, it's simply Auburns cone type limited slip that uses an electromagnet to put more pressure on the cone to sort of lock it up. It could still slip, potentially.

The Eaton e-locker seems to be pretty good now that they fixed the problems with their first design.

I've been happy with my E-locker in my front 10 bolt. In fact now I have one for my 14 bolt SF. Now I just have to get around to putting it in.
