Pretty slim pickin's. Most of the land in Texas is privately owned, so there are very few places to wheel for free. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif There are a few pay-to-play 4WD parks in the area, but you have to drive a ways to reach them.

I live in Round Rock.. and the Slab was the closest place. But after Katemcy/Mason park opened up.. it's the place to be...
Then there is Gilmer Tx.. Hot Springs Ark, Trees Ranch, Tx..
There are places... just have to drive to get to them.

Katemcy Rocks(2.5hrs), Tree's Ranch(4hrs), YO Ranch (not yet open), Gilmer(5hrs), Twin Buttes (3.5 hrs.), The Den(1hr), and Shilo Ridge(5hrs). There are many places to go but not much public stuff. Twin Buttes is public and the den is public but may or may not be legal.
