My son as my luck would have it while learning to drive stepped on the gas and not the break. We went over a curb and hit a pole. The pole has zero damage as we were going 3mph into the parking spot and he hit the gas enough to get over a curb.

Can any of you guys asses the possibly cost of the damage? My deductible is high because of other financial and life changing events happening gift me now.

No warning lights or air bags activated. Still runs and drives but it's fugged.

As some of you know I just bought that gmc to have no car payments and trade this back in because I can't afford it. Now with this I'll be paying a ton on this loan because the of the damage

Get some new collision parts and some paint from automotivetouchup.com. Fix it yourself and trade it in like you planned.

Ouch!!!
Is it missing a bumper in the last picture?
I can tell you that will not be cheap and if you don't take it to a shop certified to please a dealership it will be very bad.

What do you mean "trade this back in", that's only a thing if you buy another truck.

Yes bumper is gone... frame appears ok but the rest is all messed up

Prior to the damage was the truck worth more than you owe? There are a lot of people upside down on vehicles right now.

I'm upside down on it unfortunately. Prior to damage and even more so now. I owe more on the loan than the truck is worth.

You might be best to pay the deductible and get it fixed properly.

If you were to give the truck to the bank you still owe for the loan. They will sell the truck, but you still owe the difference if the sale price doesn't cover the loan and they will tack on fees. They will want the balance paid asap. Maximum resale value is the only hope to minimize what you will owe.
