What should I expect to pay for auto insurance for the K5? I recently got a quote and was surprised. Is any one using collector car insurance?

mine ends up only bringing my bill up around 12 bucks a month on top of my 02 silverado, i told them it was a garbage hauler/ yard work rig.. $147 a month for full coverage on both.
yeah, I wouldn't call it a collect car. Just get the quote for it's value and thats it.

once the blazer is running again it will have theft and liability only. More likely to get broken into and stolen then my s10

I keep finding myself putting more and more cash into the K5. If it were to get totaled the amount I would get would be nil compared to all the addons I've put on it.
we should be asking what year and how valuable is it?

All you need to do is let the ins company know this. Value the truck at something and they will adjust for it. All they are looking at is a stock K5 blue book value....and giving you a quote/ policy.
