GAUGES, I've got 17 more boxes of gauges coming from Auto Meter. Lets clear these shelves!!

Couple questions on the fuel gauges. If I do a new dash panel with all new gauges for my truck I was going to use the Quad gauge, but guess this would apply for all autometer gauges I want to run. My truck has factory dual tanks and I'm keeping them and I have replaced my wiring harness with a brand new oem style one, so no cutting of wires. Can I use the factory wires with the correct autometer sending units (pretty sure I can on this one) and can the autometer fuel gauge work with two separate sending units? Basically have the duel tank setup work as it would with the stock parts but using the autometer stuff with just factory wiring.

I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work but I'd rather make sure before I start buying anything.

just get the gauge for 0-90 ohm's gm spec.

and if me add a toggle switch for flip flop from 1 side or other. but if still orignal fuel switcher stuff still there its all in there.

all thay did was flip the sender wires from tank your on to other when you switch . thats how 1 gauge worked for all.

Cool, just what I wanted to know. Thanks. Yea I have the full factory setup and it works so might as well keep it.

then 1 gauge will do and like said 0-90 ohm's option.

i did a simple toggle switch years ago when i added a second tank and also used universal switch valve.

simple poll double threw switch 1 half for fuel sender lines to gauge and other power to tank valve.

just put the wire to gauge on the center comon and each tank to the outside terminals.

Guys you know you can always count on me for the best deals anywhere. And yes, as sweetk30 stated, if you are using the factory sending units, 0-90 Ohms, then you will be just fine with one gauge.

Well once I get some other stuff done and paid for. I'll give ya a call for what I need.

you got anything that will work with a 91 vss speedo? i have ultra lites and need speedo and tach
