Anyone know of an actual auto shipper in the Northeast? A reputable one and not a BS broker.
I've been trying to get a cab chassis from CT to NJ for a few weeks. Tried the broker route. All I hear is "We have a shipper in the area and can pick up tomorrow". Then I get ghosted.

local company to me 1hr east . just had them haul up a running vehicle from durham nc to my house . $750 was the price for my size vehicle .

check there web site out and fill out the online quote form . there fast to reply and great to talk with on the phone .

These guys are nationwide and they are the cheapest if the vehicle is a normal car and runs.
If it's a truck or it doesn't run it escalates real quick

I should have thought to ask on here first before reaching out to the random brokers.
 
CT to NJ, heck that's nothing, rent a trailer and go grab it. Or Roadkill it back home.

Does it run and move? A lot of times shippers don't want to mess with something that isn't easy to load.
 
I sure hope it's running it's got 9 miles on it. Got a new work truck. My 2011 has had lots of transmission problems and I don't want to put a 6th trans in it. Its been giving me some vibration and has me doubting it. It getting pretty rusty too. The trailer hitch might pull a log splitter.

You're right it's only about 3hrs 45min to drive it home. The part I don't like is the 5 hr train(s) ride to get up there. I figured if I can get it shipped for less than a days pay it's worth it. The trains from my town don't run up there on weekends.
 
When do you need it? I could go up and drive it back for ya.

I kinda wish it was a square. Buying this sets me back on my Blazer. I'm not in any rush the body company can't fit me in for a few months.
