Auto trans help in AZ

Hey AZ guys, @Babaganoosh @TJ1978 @r3dd0g and anyone else down there. My little brother and his fam live in Peoria and they lost the trans on their 2015 Chevy Tahoe 2wd. It's the 6L80 I believe. Any recommendations and where to get another trans or get his rebuilt if he pulls it out? TIA

I only have a number for the guy who did my K5 transmission. I can dm his email and number if you like. He's in the west side so that may help. But he works from his house rebuilding transmission, so Im not sure if that would help.

He's been reading some stuff and it sounds like these are a bit of a pain with the programming and such. I just talked to him and he found this place https://quantumgear.us/products/gm-...d-2007-2019-tag-4cca-5cca-7caa-7cba-7cca-7cea
they're out of Wis where we grew up. Got a whole package deal preprogrammed and ready to go.

My goto guy would be in Cali. The Toy Shop. Only does gm trans. Couldn't even talk him into a simple ford c4 on the bench.
Did my 700r4 still going stong in the 77

Depending on the cash flow you might want to try “Arizona Automotive institute”
