Anyone have auto or stick production figures for Blazers/Jimmys any year 69-72? They must have made waaay more autos than sticks. Seems like every time I see a first gen it's got a column automatic. Only seen two four speeds ever, never seen a 3 on the tree. Not a big deal just curious. Kevin

Try to find a tilt column 4spd truck, now your talking scarce.

My 69 K20 was a factory three on the tree. I don't think I have seen any K5's that were the three on the tree variety.

Almost forgot, my 70 K5 has a 4 speed manual. Supposedly had the Dana 20 but it was gone when I bought the K5 so I have put in an NP205.

My 70 K5 owners manual shows the D20 T Case as standard with the manual trannies. Mine is still going strong, but the J pattern is a bitch to shift while moving.:eek1:

I also have the 3-speed/D20 combo in my '69. It's one of the things I like the most about my Blazer, it feels so retro with the column-shift manual trans. When they see mine most people comment that they haven't seen a "3-on-the-tree" in decades...
