Hurst V-matic 2 is the best ratchet shifter I've seen, little nicer built than B&M's offerings at the same price.... Ran em in my hotrods for years...

I hadn't thought about this until I saw the pic. I have a HURST Promatic2 for trucks, which is cable operated and I'm a total fan of HURST, but the cool thing about a mechanical is you can feel the powertrain rock under load, as in manual tranny.
