Automatic locking hubs, need help

Hallo from germany,

I need help. For my 90 Blazer K1500 Silverado full size, I need a kit to overhaul my automatic locking hubs, driver side sometimes makes noise. I
always pulled it out and make a new grease job, but one part of it is lightly damaged.
Does someone have a URL were I can order this overhaul kit or OEM parts online to fix this problem ? Or can someone go to a junk yard and get this parts for me and ship it ? Payment will no problem to your account or PayPal.
I must have only the automatic locking hubs, I don`t wanna make a conversion to manual hubs.

Ralph I want to start by saying welcome (welkome) a little late but nice to see ya here. Lots of guys prefer the manual hubs. It seems the autos work fine when they do but when they fail it is at worst times. I will check into a rebuild kit for you.
 
I just got home from service station and we could not find any thing on rebuild kits. Sorry Ralph.

you can probably pick up a set of used ones dirt cheap. ive thrown out plenty over the years, they just arent that popular. its one of the first things i take off my k5s when i buy them

this is a good information, if you will throw away them, tell me a price incl. shipping and your wire transfer account or PayPal. We can make a deal, thats fine to get those help.
 
Sorry, like I said I pitched them long ago lol. Also since upgrading to one ton axles I've not needed to buy any parts axles lately :/
 
I checked a couple years ago and found that you cannot buy repair parts for the auto hubs. Id did call the local Chevy dealer and found that they were available new... for around $400... each:doah:

I know you said you don't want manual hubs, but they are more reliable and cheaper. I got a cheap set from Autozone for about $60 a few years ago for my '90 GMC Suburban. I don't do any extreme wheeling, so I didn't want to spring for a more expensive premium set. They have been trouble free and work great.

I have a set of auto hubs laying around. They off my 1989 Blazer. Have aprox 60,000 miles (96560km) on them.
They worked when removed. But i can not guaranty they still work. They have been sitting in a box for about 10 years.

Auto hubs are not that good if you do a lot of offroad driving. They have a tendency to fail or not work when you need them the most. (That is why I removed my auto hubs) For street use and light duty 4 wheeling they are ok.
If you are going to spend time doing moderate to hard 4 wheeling. It is best to use manual hubs.

didn`t get any responce from you since Nov/11 of my answer to your email above. I´m interested on your offered hubs and wait of the total and your payment terms ?!

Paypal is fine for payment it is easy.
I will try to send duty free. I know there is a form to sign so there should not be extra charges for you.
I will package the hubs and check weight and email tomorrow and give total cost.
