automatic swap

this is proly been covered before, but i was wondering how hard it was to swap a manual for a automatic. its on my 88 chevy 4x4 p/u. ive got the sm 465 4 speed in it now and ive got a 85? 700r4 that i want to put in it. i know its going to take a crossmember swap and the bellhousing will bolt to the tranny. btw ive got a 4.3 v6 for a motor now.
any help or hints would be greatly appreciated. thanks, and everybody knows chevys r the best.

you will need the right transfer case to fit the 700 you will need to add a tranny cooler, swap steering coulmns or get a floor shifter for the 700, get the TV brackets for the TV cable and you will have to get a different computer and wire in the torque converter lock up
