I'm doing some figuring on the length of different drive shafts from automatic / standard transmissions with either the NP208 or NP241 transfercase, but have not been able to find the actual lengths of any of the transmissions from the bellhousing to block mounting flange back to the adapter to t-case mounting flange.

I figure that the mating flange flange to mating flange measurement on the NV4500 is approx 24.25", so if I can find any automatic / standard transmissions of a similar length, I should be able to bolt the driveshafts straight in.

My truck currently has an SM465 / NP241 combination in it right now, and I've lifted the rear with an echobit shackle flip, just to give an idea of how long my driveshaft is right now. I've found that my driveshaft length right now is ok, but once I put in a set of zero rates to put my diff back in the stock position, I think it will be on the short side. I plan on swapping in a set of 63" springs using front hangers in the rear as a shackle flip if that makes any difference.

Thanks for any help!
