As some of you know I recently installed a full set of Autometer gauges into my blazer. I am now having a problem with the speedo. After the gauges were installed I followed the directions carefully about how to calibrate the speedo and all was well. Last weekend I drove to Reno Nevada for Hot August Nights and I also had my GPS with me as I usually do on long trips and noticed that my speedo started reading faster than the GPS above 65 mph. I also noticed today when I filled the tank that the trip odometer is moving faster than the regular odometer. At this point i'm thinking there must be an issue with the speedo and not my calibration since the different odometers aren't reading the same. Has anyone else had this issue before with an electric speedo? I just sent Autometer an e-mail telling them about the problem so hopefully i'll hear from them on monday and see what they have to say.

that dont sound correct.

when i had my old truck and 5" phantom electric speedo i set it and checked it with the speed signs around town. it was right on the money. even in const zones on highway 60-65 perfect.
