Autozone rebuild kit

I was wondering if anyone has put one of the autozone ultimate TQ rebuild kits into their 305? When I pull my 305 from my blazer, I'm going to replace it with a gm reman. and put my old 305 in another truck.
Just curious about the improvements it offers.
By the way, what does gm charge for a crate 305 long block? Anyone purchased one lately?

I would get a kit from www.northernautoparts.com, Summit, or Jegs. I believe when you buy a rebuilt motor you need a core, if you buy a Crate then no core is required.

You shouldn't have given me that site. I just saw at least 2000 worth of stuff that I never knew existed but now I can't live without. Have you used them before? They have a great selection. Thanks a lot.
Yeah, I'm going with a crate for my blazer when I take out this one. That way I'll just have to do a rebuild and drop it in my shortbed truck.
