I found four 44" ground hawgs mounted on steel rims today in the classifieds. I went out to buy them, talked them down to $300, and got a free lund moon visor. The tires have a little under half tread, but it's still a killer deal. I'll post some pictures of em tomorrow beside the blazer - they don't fit yet :wink1:.

I've got 8 inches suspension, 2 inches body, bushwhacker cut outs, and a 3/4 ton setup waiting (I'd like to steal the 1 tons from my dads 87 crew cab sitting behind it - I get the feeling he wouldn't be on board with that plan though). All I need is time..

man 3/4 bald in the centers and flat. thay look wiped. but you might be able to clean them up with a tire grover to bring back some life in to them.

Those tire have more like less than 1/4 tread left on them. The guy must have felt bad for getting the 300 fromyou that he gave you the visor.

a friend of mine had 40s in way worse shape and they lasted for years.... he only stopped using them because of the dry rot...

Here is a score, I bought the tires on my truck, 42" swampers for 1000 bucks and they were brand new never run. Had new aluminum wheels for a ford. I removed the rims and sold them for 200 and removed my old grooved 42's that were ok but just beat to death. A guy at work offered me 200 for the set and they were his. Sso total cost for 4 new tires was 600 bucks. Now thats a deal!

Here they are on the truck with a lap around the block. That was in 4/07 and i dont think they have 500 miles on them yet.
