Axel tube swap on ford Dana 60

Ok so here is my issue I have a ford dana60 and obviously it's a driver drop instead of the passenger drop that I need. Basically I got swindled and was told it was something it was not then got it and I'm stuck. So I was wondering what is the best way to go about this if I should cut my losses or can I swap the axel tubes and if there is someone in Los Angeles that can do it or change my t case to a driver drop and if so what will work with a th350 to do that. I know I'm kinda opening a can of worms but trying to make the best of the situation

Depends what year 60 it is. But it's a lot of work. Try to trade it for a GM 60, Ferds worth more anyways....

Ya I ended up with a front end Dana 60 a rear end Dana 60 a fz5 transmission and Borg Warner t case and all the drive lines if there's anyone who lives out here in Los Angeles that wants to trade or buy or has a way to make it work for some odd reason can't find anyone who wants to trade

90s - 94 I believe

Chevy d60s are worth more out here. Ford isnt too special unless its high pinion.

I looked into swapping axle tubes before but its pretty involved. Plus you have to take a chunk out of the bottom of the pumpkin to run a u bolt instead of using the pre made pad.

Id flip it and wait for an older dodge or chevy d60 to come up. Took me 8 months to find one. Deals can be found for dually ones.

Or if you really want to get crafty, find a running one ton truck, swap the axles and drive it into picknpull for $1000. Its a lot of work though but you may break even on buying an axle.

Very few ford 60s are not high pinion. If it were a 78-79, they tend to be worth more. The 86-91s are worth a little less (about like a chevy 60 here) and the 92 -97 are worth even less.
