I have a approx 1985 10 bolt 8 lug ft axle.
I need part numbers or what size u-joint the axle
shafts take. Also is there a step up size that will fit?
I dont want to go with CTM or any thing real extreem.
This is for a temporary axle till I can save up some more money for the D60.
Thanks,
Bo

yes on the shaft for spares, IIRC they are same shafts.
5-297X is the old numbers
the life series is the 'step up' ?5-760? that has superceeded the 297.
if you are changeing them remember to slop a ton of anti sieze on the spindle mating surface so it will come apart on the trail when you need it to.
