I am working like a one armed paper hanger to collect good parts off of cash for clunker trucks. Does the 88-99 14 bolt ff truck axles happen to be the same as 73-87? Anyone have a good way to put a sm465 in where a nv4500 was?

how are you getting parts from them? there are a couple suburbans and chevys at the dealerships here that were clunkers? think i could ask them for parts?
I work there so I am just taking what I want, but you can ask them if they are selling parts or midnight salvage them. I have just about stripped a 87 c10 stepside on our lot and ran into the side of a ford with the K30 at about 15mph on the lot. Ours are going right to a scrap yard where they are going into the crusher as they get there no parts are being saved unless I pull them. They are suppose to retain the drivetrain but I thought noone would notice the ff axles missing. I couldn't figure out how to keep the nv4500 that went on the truck today.

damn that nv4500 would have been a sweet score, might have to stop down there and see if they are willing to let go of some parts
