I am about to go bigger, from a 4 inch and 33's to a 6 inch and 37's with a 3 inch body, my question is will the axles handle the 37's, both the 44 and 12 are stock as of now but in about to weeks they will have lockers, dont wanna break anything on the trails, oh and another ? what is the min and max rim width for a 37 12.50 16.5

you'll want to upgrade the 12 and 44 to at least a 14b ff rear (you can put a new hub on and keep a 6 lug setup, i plan to) and then if you keep your right foot out of it not break the 44 front on the trails, but adding a locker up front your gonna put alot of stress on that 44 so a 60 wouldnt be a bad investment.

fyi you can do 3" body on 4" lift and clear 37" tires . just trim tiny bit of fender on front's . my buddy did this for years on 38" tires.

Yea i figured I could but my current 4 inch lasted one time on the trail and now it sags about an inch lower on the right front, so i figured what a better time to upgrade. If I order a 6 inch now do I need to order it for the 1/2 ton axles I have now or 3/4 ton axles or are they the same, what the difference if any between the 12 and 14ff and the 44 and 60 as far as the leaf spring perches and shock mounts

If I were to jump up to 37's I'd just run a set of 6" springs (for a 1/2,3/4 ton) and do a bit of trimming. I had them on my last K5 and really preffer the 4" spring I have on my current one. Dana 60 is a straight bolt in and if you get a 14 bolt out of a 3/4 ton it will be bolt in as well:D

I have mounted multiple 37x12.50x16.5" tires on 16.5" x 6" rims
