i got a lead on a gm drw dana 60 with 4:11 gears its not in the best of shape need a good cleaing and rebuild. just looking to see what this may be worth and if hes asking too much for it. thnanks

Your talking the front correct. Cleaning wont be hard. DRW, Will you run this or change to SRW. I paid $500 for my Dana 60F. What is he asking? If it pretty bad, maybe a couple hundred.

that axle here will sell for $500 in a day. $700 if he sits on it.

About the same for my area too (for a DRW axle).

You might consider posting this in your regional forum to find local value.

yes the front. i dont know much else about it othe then its spins ok buy hand and has beenstiiting in the dirt rain snow and whatever els behind a barn for close to 5 years now.

few simple things.

if rotors are trashed from major rust thay are around 70-80 new each.

if calipers are frozen most likly 29-39 each remaned from store.

u-joints prob bad thats 70-80 for 2 good spicers.

and pull the cover and look inside. lots of the time from sitting like that and on a farm it might be rusted / broken inside.

and hope the pass side spring plate is there . if not 50-60 for used or aftermarket.

and to convort to srw from drw thats 400-500 for 2 new hub/rotor units.
