axle shaft snap ring and thrust washer

Well I figured out the problem with my hubs

Only problem is I can not locate the parts I need... they are the snap ring and thrust washer that go on the axle shaft right against the spindle. No one can look them up and the shop I talked to said they probably have them but would need a way to reference them

The washer is part of an SBK1 kit if it's a D44 or 10 bolt axle. There is no snap ring that far down on the stub axle, there is one near the end of the stub shaft closest to the locking hub though. That snap ring keeps tension on the seals that seal the stub axle against the spindle.

x2 what he said. For a dana 60 the seal kit is SBK3

I think that's the snap ring we are talking about.. it's not on the inside side of the spindle, but on the outside side on the axle shaft.

Where can I order this kit?

Should be able to pick up the snap rings at Lowes or Home Depot.

I looked at that kit on Rock Auto.. going to order a couple just to have(cheap enough) but they don't have the washer.

Know by chance what size the snap ring is?

The SBK kit shoud give you a spindle bearing, two seals, and a thrust washer. At least the kits we sell here at my shop do.
