Is this a bad idea?

It says chromoly. And they're cheap as snot. Should I stick with Spicer or Yukon?
Also how hard is it to swap over the CV joints? Should I buy the whole assembly or just the inner shaft stub?
I don't even know what spline I have yet. But I'm just doing a little, preshopping.

Dang it that link was for a 44. I'm in the market for a 60. So I guess I'm looking at something more like this.

https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/g2-dana-60-gm-front-chromoly-axle-kit-98-2034-001/_/R-FCNB-98-2034-001

I'm still shopping but is there a cheaper place and/or better set?

'91 Blazer with tons. Stricktly a rock crawler as of now. Front axle has a lock right. It's got a set of 42" pitbulls that aren't on in the pic. I may down size in the future, not sure yet. Driver side axle is broke.

I run g2 shafts in my blazer on 42s. And Ryan's with the cummins k30 does too. Hes got yukon super joints though. I like mine. Fit and finish is good with lots of material on the yoke ears. It's been several trips on them and ryan has just wheeled the **** out of his.
