axle shim question

I have a dana 60 with a 6inch lift and my front drive shaft is binding. Are you guys running shims under you springs. I looked somewhere and it said if you want to run them you have to buy 3. I guess the 3rd on is for the bolts that go into the axle.

Hmmm problem with shimming the front is as you shim to correct pinion angle you ruin your caster. The only true way to fix this without turning your C's in the axle is to just get a higher angle driveshaft.

Fix it with shims and the truck wont track or steer so right.
 
yes, the 3rd one goes on top of the spring pack so that your u-bolt plate stays straight and you don't break bolts.
