I have a 1991 k5 blazer with front and back Chevy 10 bolts. I just got a Chevy 14 bolt ff for the rear and want to change to disc brakes. Looking for Dana 60 for front, and want hydraulic steering assist. Any suggestions on disc brake conversion, Dana 60 swap, and hydraulic steering. Also want to know more about cross over steering ad high steer. Thanks

So does WFO, Sky Manufacturing, NWF, and others.

Most of the disk brackets are pretty similar with no spacers nowadays so personal preference and pricing.

Steering stuff I am not sure if ORD offers the springless arms, but go that route if you get the 60. I just got a set from WFO. Great prices and service! :waytogo: I have a Sky steering arm too for a regular spring setup on the Kingpin. One of the best priced arms available in my opinion and its a big solid machined piece.

Lot of guys here piece together their hydro assist setup me included. I have a surplus center ram and hoses along with a modded pump. Drilled and tapped my box with a JKW cover. I am into in for ~$150. Of course PSC offers full kits sold by a couple vendors here.

Do I need to change to 2wd steering box with ord cross over and high steer kit? Also would it be smart to do dual steering dampers with hydraulic assist?

Yes you do need to switch to a 2WD steering box.

As far as the dual steering stabilizers go, they are not necessary but you can put them on there if you want.

Yep like Chris said and all the vendors who sell crossover stuff have the pitman arms too.

If you are doing Assist then there is no need to add stabilizers. The ram does a fine job.
