Axle swap questions

Is there a link that offers axle swap info as far as compatibility of years,other parts needed if any,yokes,U joints etc. This would be for my 84 K5 specifically. Id imagine Id be using something from a 3/4 4wd chebby. Curious as the last 8 lug 3/4 tn 4wd Chevy I had did not have full floating axles nor does the 84 hay wagon Chevy we have currently. Not the axle of choice id imagine eh????

you want the 14 bolt full floater which came in all 3/4 tons prior to like 82 or so?
you also want a ten bolt front axle which you could get from say around 78-79 and newer.
with the ten bolt you can reuse your other parts from the front axle off the k5.
also you will need napa #447 ujoint to mate up to the rear axle.

post ~82 had semi floats in the 3/4 tons.
