hey guys there is a guy that e-mailed me about my front and rear 6 lug 10b's that I still have sitting in the garage. He said that he has an '84 Jimmy that he put an 8 lug D60 rear in and an 8 lug d44 front in. He said that he doesn't want 8 lug and wants to go back to 6, (rim conflicts, restoration, iono) but he said he wants to trade.
The D60 has a limited slip but he didn't mention gears. I have no use for them but is there any point in trading? At least value wise?

Ill take thoe axles off of your hands if you do the trade. I would really like a D60 rear and a 44 8 lug front.

ok...I'll e-mail him and inquire about the swap.
Oh btw I looked at the e-mail again and he mentioned that the front d44 has drums...what year did they go to discs?

Those axles might have come out of a Dodge. IIRC Dodge used drum brakes up until 1973 on their front axles.

I figured it was either a Dodge or a F250. He didnt specify if it was a high pinion or low pinion front axle.
