Hey all, can someone grab a tape measure and get a measurement for me?

The axle I need the measurement from is a D44 or 10 bolt front.

The measurement I need is from the center of one upper ball joint stud to the other. Any measurement within 1/4" will be close enough.

just measured 2, 1 I got ~54.5, other just over 54. I didn't have anyone to hold the other side, so I put the tape in the slots on the castle nut.

Wow, that's crazy that you just measured some too :D

The axle I have is a D44 hi-pinion from a '75 F100 and measures 52.5". My rear axle is a 14 bolt semi-float in a '96 Suburban, but I'm unsure of the width of it. I'm not sure if the newer 14 sf axles are the same width as the older ones or not. By using my F*rd axle with 6 lug Chevy outers I should end up around 65" WMS to WMS.

But anyway, it may work well swapping some 6 lug outers on my F*rd axle to match the rear.

Thanks for the quick response!
