Axle ???

from what I have read when it comes to an axle swap say from stock 10 bolt to dana 60 or rear 14 bolt and dana70 the axles you put in have to of come out of another chevy in order to bolt right up. But I was wondering to help my search for better and big axles is there any other vehicles that the axles could come from that would bolt right up?

I think I've read others using a Dodge D60 with a pass side drop being used.

Not really. The dodge front 60 will work, there are just so many Chevys around. 14s for a hundred or so, to a ex-military one that already has 4.56 and a detroit for 500.00.

The dodge 60 passenger axle tube shorter and the perch is off a little.

78-79 HP60's have the same spring pad width as chevy. but the diff is on the wrong side.

right on I will just keep looking at chevy axles then, Just was kinda curious in case I came across somthing that would work that wasnt from a chev.
