I'm looking at getting an 85 Blazer with 38" tires & lockers in both the front & rear. To be honest I don't know much about axles or lockers. I'm used to mild upgrades so I could go from street to offroading easily. What info should I find out about the lockers? I was hoping to get a blazer I could offroad as well as tow a boat to the lake in the summer (1 lake is about 10 miles, the other about 25 miles). Is that at all conceivable with this blazer or do I need to keep looking for something less built up? The main reason I was looking at this one is that I can get it at a decent price, it is originally a southern vehicle so there is no rust, and there is a fair amount of upgrades already done to it.
