ok so i was wondering what trucks/blazers/suburbans came with heavy duty axles under them stock???????

heavy duty?

Give us some insight as to what you're looking for and plans for your truck. This is your first post and it seems a little quick and vague. No blazers came with heavy duty axles unless their military.

Like a 12 bolt or 14 bolt or dana 44 or 60 that would be under a truck in a junk yard or salvage yard

Um... A Chevy with a K followed by the number 30 on the fender

Military Blazers don't have heavy duty axles either, still 1/2 tons.

This question is too broad. Why dont you just tell us what you are looking for or if you dont know then tell us your plans and we can tell you what to look for and what vehicles it can be found in.

Alright well thanks everybody this helps alot

Well, that was rude.

This is one of the nicest, most helpful bunch of people on the net. We ARE trying to help you, but you need to give up some more info. Do you want the strongest axles ever, go with Rockwells. Or, maybe you're building a mall crawler that will never see anything more than a grassy car show field, your stock axles will be fine up to a 40" tire (he says with heavy sarcasm). The point is, we can point you in different directions depending on what size tire you want to run and what kind of wheeling (if any) you want to do. Even what kind of budget can make a difference.

As an example, I just swapped in axles from a K20 into my K5. I have next to nothing as far as budget goes, it took time, searching, bartering, work, begging, more work, and more time to put everything together for the swap. And now I have 3/4 ton axles and 35" tires which will work fine for the type of wheeling I want to do.

Option 1: start over, don't be a dick, give us some more specific info and we can help you out.

Option 2: be a dick, don't say another word, and search the forum here for the info you want. It's all here, you just need to find it.

I prefer you take option 1. Welcome to CK5. Have a nice day.

In other words - the better your question, the better your answers.

Sounds like he's 12 years old and doesn't even know what he wants.

a k10,suburban and blazers come with 1/2 ton axles (10 bolts)

k20s and also 2500 suburbans come with 3/4 ton axles. either a 14 bolt semi floater rear, some years came with a 14bff rear and for the front the older ones had a D44 and later years came with a 10b front with 8 lug hubs

k30s have a D60 front and most had a 14bff rear

im not sure of the years but the 3/4 ton trucks had a mix of a couple different axles under them.some 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton might have come with a 12b rear. im not sure i listed the most common that i have experience with.

3/4 ton never came with a 12 bolt rear.

Wasn't trying to be a dick it really does help a lot so I was saying thanks

Well, I apologize if I read it that way.

If you are looking for direct "bolt in" heavier axles it gets a bit more complicated.

All fronts from 1/2 to 1 ton will bolt in with no changes. This is anything from a 10 bolt front, a Dana 44 or a Dana 60. That is, if they come from a 73-87 truck.

For the rears, direct bolt ins come from 1/2 or 3/4 ton trucks. Whether it's a 10b, 12b, 14b semi float, or 14b full float.

A 14b FF rear from a K30 will fit under the 1/2 ton or K5 but the spring perches will need to be cut off and moved on the axle tubes. Or new ones installed which is probably better.

Awesome I want a d60 and a full floater 14b but that's down the road cuz I have too rebuild my carb and do some other things
