what type of axles do you guy suggest for swaping into a 91 k5 that I want to run 38s-40s on that will handle them without to much brakeage, and maybe easy to swap in?

Dana 60 front axle from a GM 1 ton and a 14FF from a GM 3/4 ton would be the easiest for installation. Plus they would live long with the 38-40" tires compared to 1/2 ton axles you have now.

2.5T rockwells! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif As said above D60 and C14bff would be excellent and what I plan to run on my blazer eventually...

I have been looking for a set of rockwells for another project, but for around $1000 plus a set I may be looking for a while, /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Got another question, my freind is looking to do a hybrid, s10 frame and engine/tranny 4.3/ auto, with a feiro body on it, would you guys think that the 10 bolts would hold up to 36" tires on that? it is going to weight around 1500 without the axels, (500 feiro 1000 frame/engine/tranny)what do you think?

A Dana 60 front alone will most likely run you over $1000 /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
