My truck currently has 2:73 gear on rear differential. No idea what's on the front one, all I know is that automatic hubs don't lock. Currently I have 6inch rancho lift and 35inch tires / 15inch rims, 6 bolt. I'm considering swapping both axles and getting to ~4:56 ratio possibly.

Let me know if you have any axles for sale, we might seal the deal.

Cucv axles. Dana 60 14 bolt 4.56 rear detroit front limited slip. Rear is in a 3/4 ton housing so it bolts in to k5 k10 k20 trucks. $2000.
Located central texas. You pay shipping.

To be clear - you are selling 2 axles, front and rear? Does it need 8-lug wheels? Do I need anything else to put them on 1985 K5 Blazer?

Do you have a build thread?

May be easier to help if we know what direction you are trying to go

Correct front and rear axles. They are 8 lug and are pretty easy to install. "Bolt in" with the correct ubolts and driveshaft ujoint and parking cables.

He will use it for daily driving and camping, mild off road.
He's thinking 37"- 38" tires.

I have a 1980 K20 for sale that is a project. It has however: 14bolt FF rear axle, 4.10 gears, with disc brakes. The complete truck has: 396/402, TH400, NP208 transfer case, flat bed with dump, air bags, hydroboost, winch ready front bumper. Won't smog in its current condition. Asking 2000.00/offer. Buy it and part it out, then you get the axles for free!

How did you determine your ratio? The closest factory ratio to what you're stating is 2.76. Maybe you have 3.73? What is your truck?

Actually it is 2.73
I had it in my Chevy van.
And he was servicing the rear axle and got it off the gears.

I have a set of axles currently that I would be willing to let go. Not sure of the ratio yet, but it's the newest suburban I brought home.

He wants 4.88
He's not going to find it in a stock axle.
I might have a deal for him.
We'll see after he drives it.

I posted above regarding my 1980 K20 for sale. I'm going to part it out so if you're interested in axles, let me know. 14 bolt FF rear, 4.11 gears, disc brakes, 8 lug. Dana 44 front.

Sweet! Get everything by just going to a different rig. One of your suburbans?

Nope.
The k5
It's a 10bolt 4.88 gears and an ARB locker with crossover steering and hydro assist.
Rear is 14bff with Detroit and disc brakes.
Both have wilwood calipers.
He has to drive it with the 37" toyo mt and then see if he's willing to pay for the whole setup.
He will be saving a lot if his plans are to do all of this.
But if all he wants is a set of axles with 4.88's then he will not want to spend what I want for them.
