axleshaft length

does anyone know the length of a 10 bolt rear axleshaft.stock truck axle. from the outside flange to the tip. i think its 31 1/4. am i right?

pretty much, just alittle more than 31" for 10 and 12 bolt shafts after 1969 and through at least 1987, 1964-69 were .75" shorter and entire axle that much narrower


some 73-up were .75" wider brake drums/shoes, so we are excluding those in this info
