Ok Arizona guys....

Last Friday night at my house the future of the "Arizona Guys" club was discussed w/ the "main man Brian" (Haulgas). For now, it was decided that a formal "club" will not be formed, instead we will just plan monthly wheelin' trips and whoever shows up... shows up.!!

So, here's the plan for March. The weekend of March 2/3 was going to be dedicated to a "Rock" Competition in the general "Az Jamboree" area out by Florence. The competition has been cancelled, but I think a lot of the "Big Dogs" are still going to go out there that weekend.

So let's plan a trip too.... Plans are subject to change (last time we made a plan right at the trailhead..!), but here's what I propose.

1) Meet at Lower Woodpecker to see if anything crazy is goin' on there.
2) Run Upper Woodpecker (lot of variety w/ Firehole and bypasses)
3) Run Upper Ajax (more difficult)

So, how 'bout some input.. Wanna do it Saturday or Sunday? Some may be interested in a camp out....

OK,

Count Joey and I in, we will be going up for the entire weekend. No matter what day we decide on, we will be going up early to camp. If it's a saturday ride, we will be there Friday, if it's a Sunday ride, we will be going up on Saturday.

If anyone else is intrested, in camping, let us know. But unless something drastic happens, we will be there.

By the way, if you have not been to this area to wheel, it is awesome, you can have a blast at any level of trail ride, and the scenery is awesome. Check out the pictures on my link.

Marv, count us in as usual.

PS, we had a great time last night.

Rob & Joey (AKA therobzilla)

I will see if I can talk the wife into it, but I will probably not be able to wheel, as I still have that ghost in the rear diff.
Getting the gears re-done in a month so I can participate
Would be down for the camping however!

Chris

I am planning on it. Hopefully I can make it Fri, Sat, and Sun. I may have to show up late on Fri and bail early Sun. I get off at 10pm Fri normally and am trying to get Fri off, and I don't have to work until Sun at 2pm. Where are we going to meet? I hope we can meet in the east valley this time since the trail is east of town.

If you knew the truth, you too would be against marijuana prohibition!

I'm in as long as I don't have to work Friday night, even if they're running, I should be able to get out of it.
I'll be camping too, maybe we can do a Friday night run of Lower Woodpecker if y'all want... nice short run & fun to play on.

Oh yeah, I didn't say I wouldn't go at 132!

If I can get my front wheels enough clearance to turn without interference with the firewall, and baring other family/work/mechanical issues interfering, I'll be there. I really wanted to give it a test run before the next organized run to make sure I don't hold up the whole crew but, life has conspired against me on that. We shall see...

Definitely gonna be Saturday....

I may be on for Camping on Friday night. We'll see what the "kids" situation works out to be.

For you guys with "rear axle" probs.... I have a "parts truck" '75 Blazer that has a 12b with an (un)limited slip in it... The brakes were working and everything not too long ago. If anyone needs it - let me know.

Marv, what gears are in it? I would be VERY intrested, I will send you a PM
